Introduction

Inkboard is a project to create a whiteboarding system based on Inkscape and Jabber to allow for graphical collaboration and design. Inkboard has implemented one-to-one sharing and has provisions to scale up to chatroom sharing. Any maintenance will be performed by the Inkscape open-source development team.

Maintenance Concept

Maintenance will consists of bug fixes as well as feature enhancements. Both will be done as the client wishes by the client.

Organization and Maintenance Activities

This is an open-source project. As such, any modifications and maintenance will be done by by the open-source community. There has been some talk of merging the Inkboard code in with the current release of Inkscape. This will be done if and when the Inkscape development community wishes by the Inkscape development community.
The client, Ted Gould, has admin access to the Sourceforge.net site for the Inkboard project and, as such, has complete control of all documents and source code associated with Inkboard.

This is an open-source project. Modifications will be implemented following the open-source development model. Users can access and make changes to the source code. Submissions will be managed by the Inkscape team.
